You Rocked It!

My second card for today features "GUITAR KODY" -- a digi from {SOME ODD GIRL}:

I colored him with Copics.  The sentiment stamp is from Unity.  The yellow polka-dot DP is from Colorbok and the card stocks are from American Crafts.  I inked around some of the edges with distress ink.  The twine and button are from my stash.  I added a few highlights with a white gel pen.

{ANYONE FOR ANYA?} Sunday Challenge

It's Sunday Challenge time again at {ANYONE FOR ANYA?} and this week the challenge is to

ADD SOMETHING ROUND

Easy-peasy, right?  Be sure to use an image from either {The Greeting Farm} or {CC Designs} to play along.

For my DT inspiration card, I once again used CHEEKY GEEKY from The Greeting Farm:

I stamped her with Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto Cryogen Iridescent White card stock and colored her with Copics.  The DP's are from Crate Paper, the ribbon and flowers are from my stash.  The "genuine article" round stamp is an oldie from Stampin' Up! and the sentiment was created with a Dymo label maker.

Be sure to stop by {ANYONE FOR ANYA?} to see all of the DT inspiration projects and to play along!

I'm adding this card to the following challenges:

Cheeky Geeky - Card

Have I mentioned that I LOVE my stamps from the newest release at The Greeting Farm?  Yes? Well, it's still true.  :)  I've been inking them up over and over again.  Hopefully you won't get sick of seeing them for a while.

I made this card for the current Sketch Challenge (TGFSC15) for The Greeting Farm over in the SplitCoast Stampers forum:

I used Cheeky Geeky from TGF.  I colored her with Copics and paper-pieced her hair with coordinating DP from Crate Paper.  I love this paper!  This background is a bunch of old book titles so it's perfect for Geeky here.
This sketch challenge ends tonight... got it finished just in time for the new one to be posted tomorrow!  :)

Another {FARM FRESH FRIDAY} Card

It's Friday again!  Time for another Farm Fresh Friday over at {THE GREETING FARM} blog.  This week's theme is STITCHING.  I love adding machine stitching to my cards so I was all over this one.

I used the new CC RILEY stamp:

Gah! She's gorgeous.  I colored her with Copics and paper-pieced her hoodie with some DP from Memory Box.  As awesome as it looks, there are some teeny, tiny bits to cut out!  :)  I used other DP's and card stocks from American Crafts, DCWV and Colorbox.  The hello stamp is from Studio G and the ribbon is from The Ribbon Carousel.

A {FARM FRESH FRIDAY} Card

This week's "Farm Fresh Friday" challenge over at {THE GREETING FARM} blog is a color challenge: BLACK + WHITE + ONE OTHER COLOR.  I decided to use one of the newest TGF stamps that I recently won from TGF (THANKS!).

This is Princess Anya No. 4 and she is adorable.  Just like everything else TGF!  :)  Clearly, I used RED as my third color.  I embossed the image with red embossing powder.   The background paper is embossed with a Sizzix flower folder and then inked over the top lightly with black ink.  The felt flowers, buttons and twine are from my stash.  I also used a Martha Stewart Around-The-Page punch for some added detail.

{ANYONE FOR ANYA?} Sunday Challenge

We've got a fun and easy sketch challenge for you today over at {ANYONE FOR ANYA?}!

For mt DT inspiration card, I used Cuddle Anya from The Greeting Farm.  I colored her with Copics and paper-pieced her hat with some of the same DP I used on the card.  The DP's are from Recollections and the card stocks are from American Crafts.  The ribbon and buttons are from my stash.  The HI letters are Tim Holtz Grungeboard Alphabet, which I inked up with white and brown. The scallops and circles are all on dimensional adhesive so the card really pops!  :)

Here's the sketch for the week:

{SFYTT} Inspiration

Happy Saturday!  I've got another {SKETCH FOR YOU TO TRY} inspiration card today.  Be sure to check out Jen's {I heart 2 Stamp} blog to see even more from the design team.

I used another "Pure Innocence" image for this one.  You can purchase the digi image {HERE} or the clear stamp set {HERE}.  I paper-pieced her dress and colored her with Copics.  I created the sentiment myself in paint and printed it out on textured card stock. I inked around most of the edges with distress ink.

There's still a couple weeks left of May to play along!  Here's the sketch again:

Hope everyone has a great weekend!  Thanks for stopping by.  :)

{Fabulous Friday} at {Tiddly Inks}

We've got some Fabulous Friday inspiration for you at the {TIDDLY INKS CHALLENGE BLOG}!  Be sure to check it out. There's some gorgeous work to be seen.

For my project, I used "MINNIE'S BERRY" which you can find in the {Tiddly Inks Shop} along with a bunch of other darling Minnie images:

Get your sunglasses on!  heh heh.  You know I love the bright colors.  And yes, it's those Raspberry Road Designs strawberry papers again.  They are just too awesome not to use!  :)  I colored Minnie and her berry with Copics.  The sentiment stamp is from Unity Stamp Co.  The ribbon is from my stash.  Yum, that berry looks delicious!

Don't forget about the current {TIDDLY INKS CHALLENGE}!  There's still a few days left to play.  I want to see your creations!  :)

You're Tweet!

I've got tons of projects to share with everyone this week!  I've been having some bad back issues this last week and was really only able so sit upright for a short time.  It was horrible.  Not being able to sit for a long time meant no crafting!  I totally had withdrawals.  Now that I'm feeling a bit better, I've been able to finish up my projects and get them all posted.  Be sure to scroll down to see anything new you might have missed!  That will make me feel better, too.  :)  hee hee

This card was made for {SOME ODD GIRL}'s Bright Colors Challenge happening right now, in preparation for their Facebook Fun-Day this Saturday.  Are you going to come play?  I'm so there!

Holy brightness, Batman!  This card is even bright compared to my normal work, and that's saying something!  You know I am all about the bright colors.  :)  This one makes me smile.

I used the bird and sentiment from Some Odd Girl's "Gwen In Bloom" clear stamp set.  It's such a great set with so many images! I colored the bird with Copics. The polka dot frame and lined sentiment label are from PaperTrey Ink's "Mat Stack 3" stamp set. The card stocks are American Crafts.  The blue polka dot and the striped paper is Recollections.  I used a Sizzix embossing folder for the purple dots.  The twine, button and flower are from my stash.  I did a bit of wobbly machine stitching with purple thread around the outside.  The wobbly-ness wasn't on purpose, but what can you do?  I'm certainly not going to waste my precious paper re-doing it.  It looks just fine, right?

I also utilized this month's {SKETCH FOR YOU TO TRY} happening over at "I {heart} 2 Stamp":

There's still plenty of time to play along!  Be sure to check it out and get your project linked up.

Garden Of Happiness - Card

You all know by now that I am in love with my Penny Black stamps.  I've made this card for the current challenge over at {Penny Black Saturday Challenge Blog}. The challenge theme is "In The Garden".

Oh, little Mimi, you are adorable.  I had her colored up for a Valentine project that never got made, so I planted her onto this card instead.  She is from the Mimi + Miles Valentine Set by Penny Black.  I colored her with Copics.

I found this Chinese Proverb about a garden online and used a cute font in Paint to create my sentiment.  I printed it onto white card stock.  The card stocks are by American Crafts. The DP is by Colorbok.  The leaves die is from C. C. Designs.  The flowers and button are from my stash.

A Pocket Full Of Sunshine - Tag

I recently won a package of mixed UNITY STAMPS from the {CRAFT-A-LOT} blog team and they are fantastic!  The Craft-A-Lot team and the stamps, of course. :)

I have since spent hours watching the UnityTV videos on YouTube -- they are addicting!  They also make a lot of gorgeous tags, which is what I wanted to try today.  The current challenge over at the {CRAFT-A-LOT} blog is to use Unity stamps and bling...  can do!

I took a rectangle of Kraft card stock that was about 5 inches long and snipped the top corners off.  I rounded the other two ends with a corner chomper.  I inked around the edges with Distress Ink.  I then used the sunshiney flower stamp and the yellow and orange ink and stamped a few images around the card.  I stamped one image on white card stock to make it pop!  I dotted Stickles all over that sun burst.  It's a little hard to see in the photos:

The "Sunshine" sentiment was computer generated by me.  I wish it was a stamp!  I'd use it all the time.   I stamped the "a pocket full of" sentiment with the black ink.  I popped up the sun burst and the sunshine sentiment on dimensional adhesive.  I used my Crop-o-Dile to punch a hole and attach the brad.  I then tied a length of twine into a bow to finish it off.

I'm really enjoying using all of my stamps that don't require coloring, as much as I love coloring them.  It's just another way to get the most out of my supply. :)

{U R AMAZING} card

Hiya!  I was finally able to finish up my card for this month's challenge over at {SOME ODD GIRL}.  It's a sketch challenge and it's awesome.  :)

Yes, I'm using these Raspberry Road Designs papers to the fullest!  You will be seeing lots of strawberry-inspired cards in the next little while.  I love them!  Perfect for Spring and Summer. I used it to paper-piece her dress, too. The stamp is obviously from SOME ODD GIRL, it's called "SWEET THINKIN' MAE".  I colored her with Copics.

The "Amazing" sentiment is from Technique Tuesday.  The U and R letters are from the "Grungeboard - Alphabet Soup" set by Tim Holtz -- they are grungy gray letters that can be altered in any way.  I inked mine with brown and white inks mixed, to make them look like soft leather.  I then used a while gel pen to make stitches around the outsides.  I love how they turned out!

Box of Cards: A Mother's Day Gift

I always give my mom a handmade gift for Mother's Day and this year is no exception.  Only this time, I decided to make a gift that keeps on giving!  :)
I made this thin box with five matching cards inside:

As I've mentioned, my Copic ink levels are super low, bordering on non-existent and with no funds to replenish, I have to get creative with my stamps and ink!  Wow... stamping with stamps... what a concept, eh?  :)  There's lots of heat embossing happening here, too.

Anyhoo, I gathered a bunch of different stamps that I've had in my stash for a while and mixed them all together.  The floral star and silhouette stamps are from the dollar spot at JoAnn's.  The swirl stamp I've had for over 20 years (seriously) and the "Thinking Of You" sentiment stamp is from Some Odd Girl.

The floral star is heat embossed with gold embossing powder.  The silhouette is embossed with shiny black embossing powder. The card stocks are from American Crafts.  The purple polka dot DP is from DCWV.  The punch is by Martha Stewart and the twine is from my stash.  The insides of the cards are plain white so she can add her own special note.  :)

All five cards and five envelopes fit into the paper box, which I made with the help of my trusty score board.  To finish everything off, I tied it with some shiny gold ribbon that is attached to the back only, so it can be untied and tied again as often as needed.

I hope she likes it!  And mom, if you are seeing this early, act surprised when I hand it to you on Sunday.  :)

A {TIDDLY TUESDAY} Challenge + Other Fun Stuff

Tuesday is here and we have a new challenge for you over at the {TIDDLY INKS CHALLENGE BLOG}!  The theme for this challenge is Mother's Day or just make something pretty and girly with a Tiddly Inks image.  :)

For my DT inspiration card, I used WRYN - CLOSE TO MY HEART:

I colored her with Copics and paired her up with some DP's from K+Company.  The ribbon is from The Ribbon Carousel and the buttons are from my stash.  The M-O-M letters are just a computer generated font that I printed with the image.

We are also happy to welcome three new designers to the team:  AlyceVicky + Emmy!  Be sure to check out the {TIDDLY INKS CHALLENGE BLOG} to see some of their awesome projects and to play along with the challenge.

Christy has also added another adorable image to {THE SHOP} today:  Be Bold, Be You - Ballerina

I just love her. She's so graceful and fits the sentiment perfectly.  The sentiment comes with the image, too!  Sweet bonus, right?

I look forward to seeing all of your new creations this week, Tiddly Inkers!  :)

{ANYONE FOR ANYA?} Sunday Challenge

We've got a new challenge for you this week over at {ANYONE FOR ANYA?}   The theme is LACE -- add something lacy to your project.  Be sure to use an image from The Greeting Farm or C.C. Designs to play along.

For my DT inspiration card, I used a stamp from The Greeting Farm which I recently won in a TGF challenge (wooty woot!).  She's called Blush Bonnie and she's gorgeous:

I stamped her with Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto Cryogen Iridescent White card stock and colored her with Copics.  The DP's are from Colorbok and K+Company and the card stock is from American Crafts.  The twine and button are from my stash and the lace is from the discount bin at JoAnn's.  The "Thinking Of You" sentiment came with Blush Bonnie -- bonus!  :)

Be sure to check out the {ANYONE FOR ANYA?} challenge blog to see the rest of the DT inspiration and to play along!

I {HEART} 2 STAMP - Guest Designer

Happy Cinco de Mayo and National Scrapbooking Day, everyone!  Even better, HAPPY SATURDAY! Hooray for weekends.

Today I am happy to share that I am the May Guest Designer over at I {HEART} 2 STAMP !  When Jen asked if I wanted to play along, I was so excited!  You know, Jen.... host of the monthly Sketch For You To Try {SFYTT} challenge?  Yep, that awesome gal.   Go check out her {BLOG} to see the new sketch for May and my big ol' mug smiling at you.

The May sketch is great!  I used a Pure Innocence digi image on my card.  You can buy Heather Ellis' digi stamps at her Etsy shop {here}.  The DP's are from Colorbok and the card stock is from American Crafts. I colored the little gal with Copic markers and paper-pieced her dress with light pink and white DP from Recollections.  The pink ribbon is from The Ribbon Carousel.  The sentiment is from Some Odd Girl's "Gwen In Bloom" clear stamp set.

Don't forget you have all month to play along with the May {SFYTT}!
