A {FABULOUS FRIDAY} with Tiddly Inks

Hi everyone!  We've got some super-cute inspiration posted for you on the {TIDDLY INKS CHALLENGE BLOG} today.  Be sure to check it out!  There's still time to enter the "Think Pink" challenge, as well.

I'm dedicating this card to Christy and all of the lovely ladies on the Tiddly Inks design team.  This is my last post as a Tiddly Inks designer and I wanted to say thanks for the fun times!  The Tiddly Inks design team is one of the best around and I am so happy that I got a chance to be a part of it.

How darling is this "SWEET TREAT WRYN"?  I'd be smiling, too, if I had a giant ice cream cone in front of my face.  Yum!  I colored her with Copics  (side note: her shoes are pink, not red, silly camera).  I created the sentiment in Paint before printing the image out.  The DP is from Recollections.  The buttons and twine are from my stash.  I added some Stickles to the ice cream scoops for some extra yummy sparkles.  :)

Now hop on over to check out all the lovliness happening on the {TIDDLY INKS CHALLENGE BLOG} -- you won't be disappointed!

You Rocked It! - card

The Greeting Farm has another weekly sketch challenge up in the Splitcoast Stampers forum. This week's sketch is fabulous!  It's definitely going in my "Go To Sketch" pile.

I used the Wild Sprouts - Chelsea stamp for this card:

I love her!  Dancing and singing with her iPod... so adorable.  :)  I've decided that I really love using the color orange in my creations, which is strange, because I wouldn't necessarily say I am a fan of orange.  But it looks great on my bright cards!  Pink and orange go well together, too.

This one has lots of paper-piecing again, of course.  It might be my "thing".  I love the look.  I colored her skin with Copics but her hair and clothes are paper-pieced. The DP is from DCWV.  I added some sparkly Stickles to her dress and shoes.  The sentiment stamp is from Unity.  The ribbon is from Martha Stewart Crafts. The scallop border die is from My Favorite Things.

{ANYONE FOR ANYA?} Sunday Challenge

The {ANYONE FOR ANYA?} challenge for you this week is to create/decorate a BOX or BAG.  Be sure to use an image from THE GREETING FARM or C. C. DESIGNS to play along

I had a birthday gift to give this weekend, so I decorated a bag of Ghirardelli chocolates.  Yummy treats are always a welcomed gift, right?  :)  Salted Caramel + Dark Chocolate squares... heaven.

I used two stamps from The Greeting Farm for this little birthday gal -- Ruby (head) and Flirty Anya (body).  She's colored with Copics and has paper-pieced hair and dress.  The DP is from Colorbok and the card stock is from American Crafts.  I used the botanical beauty flower die from My Favorite Things.  The birthday sentiment and frame are from Papertrey Ink.  The lovely, wide ribbon is from The Ribbon Carousel.

Don't forget to check out the {ANYONE FOR ANYA?} challenge blog to see all of the DT inspiration projects and to play along!

Sweet Summer - card

This month's Retro-Fresh Challenge over at {THE GREETING FARM BLOG} has a theme of Summer and Summertime plus an older TGF image.

I used one of the three Dressy Anya gals that I love:

Does the sketch look familiar?  :)  It's the same one I used on my previous card.  I told you I loved it and you would be seeing it often!  hee hee!  I used more toned-down Summer colors here.  It reminds me off a cool Summer garden with a cute party dress.  I paper-pieced her clothes and colored the rest with Copics.  The DP is from DCWV.  The ribbon is from The Ribbon Carousel.  The sentiment stamp is from Papertrey Ink. The leaf die is from C. C. Designs.

This card is making me crave mint brownies... anyone want to send some my way?  I wouldn't object.  :)  Happy weekend, everyone!

Hello - a princess card

This card I just put together is definitely one of my most favorite cards I've made!  I love how it all came together.  Sometimes, I start a card 2 or 3 times before I end up with something I kind of like. This one is a keeper :)

How sweet is she?!  I used the newest Princess no.4 from The Greeting Farm.  I copied the lovely Thanh Vo's idea to crop her hair a bit... it's adorable!  A sweet little princess bob.  I paper-pieced her hair, dress and crown and colored her skin with Copics.  The DP is from DCWV and the card stock is from American Crafts.  The ribbon is from The Ribbon Carousel.  The leaf die is from C. C. Designs. I used the rolled paper roses die from Sizzix and the Sizzix polka dot embossing folder for some of the orange card stock.  The scallop border is from a Martha Stewart's Around-The-Page punch. The hello sentiment is from Papertrey Ink.

The sketch I used is from the current GREETING FARM challenge over on Splitcoast Stampers.  It's a perfect sketch!  You'll be seeing me use it a lot.

Let's Fly Away - card

I recently fell in love with the digi images from Jellypark.  Have you seen them?  They are all adorable!  My Jellypark collection will no doubt be growing quickly.  :)

The current challenge over at {JELLYPARK CHALLENGES} is "Let's Go Fly A Kite" - use kite images, string, background papers.  Since my first and only Jellypark image happens to have wings, I thought I would make her into a kite:

Tee hee!  This image makes me chuckle every time I see it. So cute.  I colored the image a bit digitally before printing it out then added some Copic color on top. The DP is from Recollections.  The card stock is from American Crafts.  The sentiment is computer generated.  I used my scallops border die from My Favorite Things to cut it out and make it more cloud-like.  I glued on some baker's twine as kite string, with Tombow Mono Multi Glue. It works perfectly!  I added a bit of machine stitching around the edges to finish it off.

{ANYONE FOR ANYA?} Sunday Challenge

A new challenge is up and ready to go over at the {ANYONE FOR ANYA?} challenge blog!  This week is a SKETCH CHALLENGE and it's a fun one.  We want to see all of your creative ideas using an image from THE GREETING FARM or C. C. DESIGNS.

For my DT inspiration card, I used the new PRINCE IAN stamp from The Greeting Farm:

What a dashing young prince he is.  :)  His hair and clothes are paper-pieced and the rest is colored with Copics.  I stamped the image in brown Memento ink instead of my usual black, to fit the color scheme better.  I like the softer look!  The DP's are from DCWV and Recollections.  The card stocks are from American Crafts.  The sentiment stamp and the vine die are from Papertrey Ink.  The leaves die is from C. C. Designs.  I used the roller flower die from Sizzix to create the larger rose.  The smaller roses are from my stash.

I used a sweet digi image called "ANNIE'S PREZZIE" for my card:

It's no wonder why I love her so much.  :)  I colored her with Copics and added some highlights with a white gel pen.  The DP is from Crate Paper and the gray card stock is from American Crafts.  The gingham ribbon is from my stash.  It's a simple layout but I really like it!

Celebrate Today - Princess Style

You all know how much I love to paper-piece my images, right?  I really like how the images from The Greeting Farm are perfect for it!  I created this card based on the current sketch challenge by The Greeting Farm over at Splitcoast Stampers:

I colored her skin with Copics and paper-pieced her crown, hair and dress with different DP's from DCWV.  Some bits were hightlighted with Copics. The dress paper does have a pattern to it, it just wasn't willing to show up in any photo. :)  All of the DP on this card is from DCWV. The card stocks are from American Crafts.  The ribbon is from The Ribbon Carousel.  The sentiment stamp is from PaperTrey Ink.  I machine stitched around the edges with white thread.

{ANYONE FOR ANYA?} Sunday Challenge

A new challenge is up and ready to go over at the {ANYONE FOR ANYA?} challenge blog!  This week is a photo inspiration challenge.  We want to see what you can come up with using an image from THE GREETING FARM or C. C. DESIGNS with this photo as your inspiration:

I chose to use the black + white colors for my DT project:

It's a bit hard to see, but I heat-embossed Flirty Anya with black embossing powder and colored in just a few bits with Copics.  I strung some black + white baker's twine through the holes and tied it in a bow on the side.  I added a few paper roses and a quick sentiment from Papertrey Ink and she was good to go!

So cute.  I colored him with Copics.  I created the sentiment in Paint and printed it out with the digi image.  The DP's are from DCWV and the ribbon is from The Ribbon Carousel.  I also used the Martha Stewart Around-The-Page punch and did a bit of machine stitching around the edges.
