{GRACIAS} a card share + coloring demo

Just a quick card share today.  I used one of the images from The Greeting Farm's {Miss Anya Lounge} stamp set and water colored her with Distress Inks.  This card layout has sort of become my go-to layout lately... I think it showcases the image perfectly and still allows for a bit of extra flare with some cute paper, ribbon and a pop-out sentiment!  This sentiment is from Paper Smooches' {Good Gab} set.
I've made a Distress Ink watercoloring demo video for this card which you can view {HERE} or down below:
Thanks for watching!

A {Splitcoast Stampers} Love Fest with TGF!

There's been a lot of fun happening over at {SPLITCOAST STAMPERS} this week!  If you haven't checked it out, you really should... There's still time to participate  :)
Today it's The Greeting Farm's turn to present the challenge:
A Love To "DIE" For
Simply create a LOVE themed project using dies.  Any dies!  If you have any of the new TGF dies, grab them and get creative!
For my sample card, I used the new "Mini Flowers w/ Die" set.  I stamped the flowers with red "Barn Door" Distress Ink and the heart centers with pink "Worn Lipstick" Distress Ink.  The sentiment is by Paper Smooches.
And, of course, I had to cover the flower center hearts with Stardust Stickles.  I am so in love with these new dies!
Hop on over to The Greeting Farm's challenge on {Splitcoast Stampers} to see how you can participate to win some great prizes!
Thanks for stopping by.

{What's Up?} card share

I was super lucky this month and won a few different giveaways and prizes from some awesome stamp companies -- one of them being {Penny Black Inc}.  During the newest release showcase on the {PENNY BLACK BLOG} there was a chance to win 5 new stamps -- little Mimi and her new big sister Mindy -- and I was the random winner!  Wooty woot!
I love little Mimi and all of the Penny Black stamps.
For this card, I used the new "Scooter Mimi":
Tee hee!  Look at her tiny little bum and that adorable scooter!
beep beep
I stamped her onto watercolor paper and water colored her with Distress Inks.  I covered the scooter in Stardust Stickles.  Now really, wouldn't you like to drive around town on this little hot rod?  I sure would!  It sparkles!  :)  The "What's Up?" sentiment is by Paper Smooches.
Want a peek at the cute PB stamps I won?
So adorbs.  They can all be found {HERE} in the Penny Black shop.
Thanks for stopping by!

Friday is here again and with it comes a new {FARM FRESH FRIDAY} challenge over on The Greeting Farm blog!
This week's challenge theme is:
For my flowery card I used "Friday Night" and the new "Mini Flower w/ Die" .  These dies are so much fun to add to cards.  They are the perfect size and you can stamp a sentiment right onto them, as I did here. The "Smile Every Day" sentiment comes with this stamp/die set.
I water colored miss Friday with Distress Inks and paper-pieced her hat to match some of the layering paper.  I machine-stitched around each layering panel.  I popped up a couple of the flowers on dimensional adhesive.
* * * * *
We can't wait to see what flowery concoctions you can come up with this week!  To see the challenge rules and all of the DT contributions, stop by the {SPLENDID STAMPING} blog.

{You're A Cool Friend} card

I love my snowman stamps from Lawn Fawn! Sometimes my brain forgets that it's still Winter after Christmas ends. Hee hee :) While I still wanted these guys to be Wintry, I wanted to do it with Spring-like colors. I think I pulled it off!
Perfectly Spring-like snowmen... Snowman and snowwoman... Snowkid?  Whatever they are, they are cute! And that bird, oh that silly bird. I water colored my scene with Distress Inks and added some Stardust Stickles over the snow. I dotted it around the sky to create snowflakes, too. It's extra sparkly.
I made this card for a couple different challenges: the "Lots Of Layers" challenge over at {LOVES RUBBERSTAMPS} and the "Stamp A Scene" challenge over at {LAWNSCAPING}.

{Double-Take Tuesday} with TGF

It's time for a new {DOUBLE-TAKE TUESDAY} challenge over on The Greeting Farm blog!  Yippee!  This week, we have a sketch for you to follow.
I used "WS - Gracie" for my card today.  I water colored her with Distress Inks and paper-pieced her hat and jacket in the same denim style paper I used on the card base.  I love her denim outfit! :)
The sketch for you to be inspired by:
We'd love it is you stopped by the {SPLENDID STAMPING} blog to see all of the DT creations and to play along with us!

a {Happy Bird-Day} card

There's a new "Cool Shades" color story challenge up on the {Paper Smooches SPARKS} blog. I didn't want to waste any time getting started on it!  :)
Yep, it's my favorite bird from the "Birthday Buddies" set.  I stamped him onto watercolor paper that I die-cut using the new "Tag Scallop Die" from PS.  I masked off his wing and stamped the balloon and string from the "Hullabaloo" set underneath it.  I tied some chocolate brown grosgrain ribbon around the base and onto the tag itself.
I used a white ink Gelly Roll pen to add some highlights to the image and dashes around the card base.  I'm just now realizing that I forgot to add some Stickles to his hat and balloon!  I'll be sure to get right on that.  My cards don't seem complete without a little sparkle. :)
Thanks for stopping by!

{Thinking Of You} a TGF card

I was finally able to get my hands on the adorable, but retired, "HG LAUNDRY" stamp from The Greeting Farm!  She's a must-have on so many stamper's lists and she was recently for sale in The Greeting Farm shop.  No special privileges on this one for being on the TGF design team...
I knew only a few would be listed so I stalked the shop for two hours straight!  Yep, I hit "refresh" on the page every 5 minutes for two hours -- I wasn't going to let her slip by me this time!  haha  :)
Want to see why she's so desirable?
She couldn't be any cuter!
I stamped her onto watercolor paper and water colored her with Distress Inks.  I added Stardust Stickles to her clothes and pink, fuzzy slippers.  I've got a coloring demo video that you can view right {HERE} or down below:
You never know if or when she'll become available again, so you should probably follow The Greeting Farm page on Facebook to be in-the-know for any upcoming stamp reveals!
Thanks for watching.

{Happy Anniversary} a Paper Smooches card

I mentioned a little while ago that I was a winner of a bunch of fantastic products from {Paper Smooches}.  I decided to put more of them to use today! :)
I love these "Freezy Fellas".  I did some masking while stamping to get them close and overlapping.  I colored them up a bit with Distress Ink and added sparkles with some Stardust Stickles.
The cute "Happy Anniversary" sentiment is from the Paper Smooches "Good Gab" set.
I've made this card for the "All About Love" challenge over at {LOVES RUBBERSTAMPS} and the February Designer Draft challenge at the {PAPER SMOOCHES SPARKS} blog.

A special TGF {SNEAK PEEK}...

We are so excited for a new release sprouting up on The Greeting Farm tomorrow, but we just couldn't wait to spread the news so we are sharing a little sneak peek with you today!
What's being released, you ask?
The Greeting Farm's new {STAMP + DIE COMBO} sets!
Yep, new STAMPS with matching DIES!
Holy moly awesomeness, right? :)
This stamp + die set is called "Mini Clouds w/ Die" and it's the cutest! It comes with a couple different cloud stamps, some raindrops, a heart, and this adorable "fluffy" sentiment.  I stamped the polka-dot cloud with Versamark ink and heat-embossed it with aqua embossing powder to give it some added texture.
Would you like to see a sneak peek of all four of the new stamp + die sets, and have a chance to win them?  Head on over to The Greeting Farm's {SPLENDID STAMPING} blog -- you won't be disappointed.

{Double-Take Tuesday} with TGF

It's {DOUBLE-TAKE TUESDAY} over on The Greeting Farm blog!  This week, we have a sketch challenge for you.  For my card, I used the "Sitting Wonderful" stamp set.
This sitting Anya stamp set comes with the chair, a sentiment, a cute glass of lemonade and this tiny magazine -- she's on the cover!  Ooh la la, cover girl Anya!  :)
I stamped the magazine and cut it out in a tag shape to tie onto the ribbon. I water colored Anya and the magazine with Distress Inks.  Her hair, bow, and chair were paper pieced.
Here's the sketch to be inspired by this week:

{Farm Fresh Friday} with TGF

Welcome to another fabulous {FARM FRESH FRIDAY}!  This week, our challenge for you over on The Greeting Farm's {SPLENDID STAMPING} blog is to use BUTTONS + BAKER'S TWINE.
Now that I can do. :)
Have a mentioned how much I love this new "LOVEY BEAN" clear stamp?  Yes?  Good.  She's just drawn so cutely, I want to squeezle her little cheekies!
I stamped her onto watercolor paper and colored her with Distress Inks.  I wanted to try coloring her skin with a darker color than I normally reach for.  I realized that almost every image I color has light skin -- duh.  You just get into a habit and don't realize it sometimes, right?  For this little gal, I used the Distress Ink color "Frayed Burlap" -- the same color I use to shade the Kraft paper. I think it looks great!  I'll be experimenting more with different shades of skin colors.
We'd love it if you stopped by the {TGF BLOG} to see all of the DT creations today and played along with us.  You can win free TGF stamps!  Oh, did I mention free stamps?  hee hee  :)
Thanks for stopping by.

{I Pine For You} Valentine

I love creating with Valentine's Day colors --  pink and red look so cute together. :)
For this card, I grabbed my Lawn Fawn stamps and a couple colors of Distress Ink.  I stamped the pine trees in three different shades of pink and red and the sentiment and hearts in another.  I added stardust Stickles to the hearts and around the main panel for some extra twinkle.
I used bits from each of these Lawn Fawn stamps:

I'm entering this card into the "Anything Goes" challenges at {LOVES RUBBERSTAMPS} and {SIMON SAYS STAMP}.  I'm also entering it into the the current "Be My Valentine" challenge over at the {LAWNSCAPING} blog

{Double-Take Tuesday} with TGF

Our {DOUBLE-TAKE TUESDAY} challenge for you this week on The Greeting Farm blog is a COLOR story:
There are many routes to take with these colors, but I thought they would be perfect for a military thank you card with "Awareness Anya" on board.
I used the colors to make an American flag.  I created the flag with squares and rectangle strips, glued them down onto a scrap of white card stock, then cut them out with a circle die.  I popped it onto a scalloped circle card base.
Awareness Anya is water colored with Distress Inks.  Her yellow ribbon and the tiny wooden stars are coated with stardust Stickles for extra sparkle.
Gosh, she's a cutie :)
Grab your TGF stamps and join us over on The Greeting Farm's {SPLENDID STAMPING} blog to see all of the DT creations and to play along!
Thanks for visiting.
