It's time for a new {GARDEN VARIETY TUESDAY} challenge over on The Greeting Farm blog!  Since the holiday season is soon to be upon us, we wanted to give you a chance for a head-start on your cards, so this week, our challenge theme is:
I stayed away from the traditional red and green for my card and went with a more subtle pink and aqua color scheme.  I added some map and music note paper and lots of Distress Ink around the edges to look a little vintage.
The sentiment stamp is from The Greeting Farm's {SPARKLING SEASON} clear stamp set.  The image is the "nice" cheeky angel from The Greeting Farm's {NAUGHTY OR NICE} rubber stamp set.  I stamped her onto watercolor paper and water colored her with Distress Ink.  Her hair and wings are paper pieced.  I added some sparkle with a bit a stickles and some white ink gel pen highlights.
Now it's your turn to make a holiday card!  Be sure to stop by The Greeting Farm's {SPLENDID STAMPING} blog to see all of the DT creations and to play along.
Thanks for visiting.
