She's so much fun to color and I love her hair in a side ponytail.  I'm also in love with the new tulip border die!  The scalloped hearts and the different sizes of flower heads look so great together.  :)

I colored her with Distress Inks and added some highlights with a while gel pen.  The butterfly is die-cut from the TGF Mini Flutters Die/Stamp Combo set.

She's so ready for Spring!

May Release Preview #3 with {TGF}

Today is our last day of previews for The Greeting Farm's May release which is tomorrow, May 1st!  Woo hoo!  We'll be having a blog hop tomorrow, so be sure to stop by again for all of the fun. :)

Today I'm showcasing the two new rubber stamps and the new TGF FENCE DIE!

Isn't it great?!  It's the cutest picket fence I've ever seen. I love the staggered heights of the boards and the tiny heart cut-outs at the top.

It's the perfect size for a standard A2-sized card (5.5"x4.25") as it fits perfectly along the bottom.  I colored the new GARDEN ANYA with Distress Ink.  I also used the TGF Butterfly die on this one.

This classy gal is ANYA STROLLS.  She's so cute with her little puppy and her long, flowing hair!  I die-cut the fence then heat-embossed it with gold embossing powder. I cut it in half and added it to each side.  The top part of the fence with the hearts looks like a city skyline and the bottom half looks like banners!  You could use this TGF FENCE DIE in so many ways! :)

I also heat-embossed ANYA STROLLS with the same gold embossing powder on vellum paper.

Pop on over to The Greeting Farm's {SPLENDID STAMPING} blog today for your chance to win the TGF FENCE DIE!  And be sure to come back tomorrow to for our blog hop for your chance to win the entire May release!

Thanks for visiting.

{FARM FRESH FRIDAY} with TGF

Our {FARM FRESH FRIDAY} challenge theme this week on The Greeting Farm blog is:  APRIL SHOWERS BRING MAY FLOWERS!  We want to see all of your flowery TGF creations.

I made an oversized chipboard tag.  I covered it with old book page paper and inked the edges with Distress Ink.  I then just grabbed a bunch of random bits and pieces I had laying around and got to work!

The stamp is The Greeting Farm's retired "LAUNDRY ANYA" gal.  I water colored her with Distress Inks.  The white gate is the newest die from The Greeting Farm's upcoming May release!  Isn't it gorgeous?  It's so intricate and perfect.  I love it.  :)

The flowers are from the dollar bin at Michaels.  I distressed the edges with brown ink and added some Stardust Stickles to the edges.  I stamped the script background by Inkadinkado with pink Distress Ink.

I grabbed two different lace trims I had in my scrap bin and glued them down on the back and top.  I used a little bit of the cream-colored lace as the tie at the top.

The vellum cloud was die-cut with The Greeting Farm's "Mini Cloud w/ Die" set.  The "SMILE" sentiment from The Greeting Farm's "Delicate Words" die set.  The sun and main white stitch-embossed panel were given to me in a candy giveaway, and I cannot remember the company that makes those dies. Sorry about that! I finished off the tag with a couple tiny, pink clothespins and some baker's twine.

I had a lot of fun making this flowery tag!  :)  Be sure to stop by The Greeting Farm's {SPLENDID STAMPING} blog to see all of the DT's flowery creations and to play along.  We're also showcasing the new May release stamps and dies over the next few days, so you'll definitely want to keep your eye on the TGF blog for your chances to win!

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I'm entering this tag into the following challenges:

{SIMON SAYS STAMP AND SHOW} - Color Challenge
{LOVES RUBBERSTAMPS} - Great Outdoors
{SIMON SAYS STAMP} - Anything Goes
{OOZAK BLOG} - Pearls/Lace/Ribbon

{PAPER SMOOCHES} Guest Designing

This is my last Guest Designer post with {PAPER SMOOCHES}.  I've had a great month playing with some of the new stamps and I send out a huge THANK YOU and a big CRAFTY HUG to Kim for letting me play along!  :)

Today I'm sharing two more cards made with the "MARKET FRESH" clear stamp set:

I love this set!  There are so many ways to use each stamp.  The little cans with the added smiley face?  Too cute!  :)  I also love the "check this out" sentiment.  That can be added to any card style.  These stamps are really fun to paper-piece, too.  I pieced the cash register with two different papers and it looks awesome.

Be sure to stop by the {PAPER SMOOCHES} blog for more daily inspiration and if you want to play along in the Paper Smooches challenge (of course you do!) hop on over to the {PAPER SMOOCHES SPARKS} challenge blog.

{DOUBLE-TAKE TUESDAY} with TGF

Today is my day to host the new {DOUBLE-TAKE TUESDAY} challenge over on The Greeting Farm blog!  I decided, that since Monday was EARTH DAY, that we should continue to celebration for one more week.

For my inspiration card, I used "ANNIKA", a retired TGF rubber stamp:

I created a little Earthly scene for her to hang out in.  I'm fairly certain she's heading home from the library on a warm Summer day.  Wouldn't you agree?  :)

I colored her with Distress Ink and a Tombow Dual-Brush Colorless Blender pen.  It's like water coloring, without the water.  And without a brush.  I've made a coloring video as well, which you can view {HERE} or down below:

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This is my inspiration photo for everyone this week:

Here's how to play:
  • Use a TGF stamp (rubber, digi, or clear) as your main image.
  • Submit your entry via InLinkz (on the TGF blog) no later than Monday, April 29, 2013 at NOON CST. You can add a direct link to your entry from your personal blog, SCS gallery, Flickr or TGF galleria.
  • The fabulous prize: A random participant will be selected to win a digital image of choice from the TGF store.
  • And here's the "double take"...each week, as long as we have 20 or more players for one of our challenges, the prize DOUBLES to either two digis or a SINGLE rubber stamp of choice, so encourage all your friends and family to play along!
Hop on over to the TGF {SPLENDID STAMPING} blog to see all of the DT's Earth Day inspiration photos and to play along!

{FARM FRESH FRIDAY} with TGF

It's {FARM FRESH FRIDAY} time over on The Greeting Farm blog!  This week, our challenge theme for you is:

RECYCLE or ALTER SOMETHING

I love taking something that was not initially made for crafting and turning it into a work of art!  We want to see what you can come up with using stamps or dies from The Greeting Farm.

I made a mixed-media altered coaster:

A while ago I found a large stack of cork-backed coasters at the thrift store.  My artsy-crafty brain told me to snag 'em right up!  :)   I have a video below showing how I made the background.

I used the sweet new ALICE BEAN from TGF and "ChitChat" word stickers by Tim Holtz.  I love those stickers.  It's fun to look through them and come up with your own sentiments and sayings!

I decided that this coaster needed to say "Find the adventure in each day & discover a world of imagination".  I thought little ALICE BEAN fit in perfectly.  I colored her with Distress Ink and a colorless blender pen.  And, of course, there's some sparkly stardust Stickles all over this thing!

You can watch how I created this coaster {HERE} or in the video below:

Be sure to stop by The Greeting Farm's {SPLENDID STAMPING} blog to see all of the cool altered/recycled projects the rest of the design team come up with!  Everything looks pretty dang awesome. :)

{PAPER SMOOCHES} Guest Designing

I'm running just a tad bit late today, but I've got another {PAPER SMOOCHES} card to show you!  I used some of the stamps from the new {FIRST AID KIT} clear stamp set:

I wanted to create a simple, more masculine-looking card.  I used one of the pill stamps in three different Distress Ink colors and stamped them so they cascade down the front.  I was inspired by the Nintendo game "Dr. Mario"... was anyone else obsessed with that game besides me?  I can hear the music in my head right now.....  hee hee :)

I stamped the sentiment onto a die-cut oval with Versamark Ink and heat-embossed it with white embossing powder so it would really stand out.  The sentiment is so cute.. I love the font!

I'll have another Paper Smooches card or two to show you next Wednesday.  Until then, pop on over to the {PAPER SMOOCHES} blog for more inspiration!

Thanks for visiting.

Annie Rose

{DOUBLE-TAKE TUESDAY} with TGF

We have a fantastic SKETCH for you to follow for this week's {DOUBLE-TAKE TUESDAY} challenge over on The Greeting Farm blog!

I've used "Hatter Bean" for this sweet card.  I stamped her onto watercolor paper and colored her with Distress Inks. She's got quite a bit of Stardust Stickles all over her hat and dress.  The flower is from the stamp/die combo set "Mini Flowers + Die" which is available in the TGF store.  The sentiment is from MFT - Pure Innocence "All Occasion Sentiments".

I machine-stitched around all of the layers to tie everything together.  These adorable designer papers are from Lawn Fawn's "Pink Lemonade" petite paper pack.  So cute!

I love this sketch!  All of the layers look so great and it's clean and simple, but it doesn't have to be.  I'm sure I'll be using this sketch a lot! :)

Now it's your turn to be inspired!  Take this sketch and do what you can with it.  We'd love it if you stopped by the TGF {SPLENDID STAMPING} blog to see all of the DT creations and to play along!

Thank for visiting.

{FARM FRESH FRIDAY} with TGF

The {FARM FRESH FRIDAY} challenge for you this week over on The Greeting Farm blog is to incorporate CLOUDS into your creation!

I used "QUEEN BEAN" for my heavenly card.  I placed her onto die-cut clouds that I made with the TGF cloud die.  I also made a cloudy background with a die-cut cloud and distress ink.  I love the pinkness -- it's like a cotton candy sky!   Ahh, wouldn't that be delicious.

I colored "QUEEN BEAN" with Distress Inks and a Tombow Blender Pen.  I added some Stickles to her outfit, crown, clouds, and hearts.  The sentiment is from My Favorite Things - Pure Innocence.  I stamped it onto a die-cut banner from the "Bannerific" set by Lawn Fawn.  This card has lots of dimension and sparkle.  :)

We'd love to see what cloudy creations you can come up with this week!  Be sure to stop by the {SPLENDID STAMPING} blog to see all of the DT creations and to play along.

{PAPER SMOOCHES} Guest Designing

I've got another guest DT card being featured on the {PAPER SMOOCHES} blog today!  I used stamps from the new "Market Fresh" stamp set:

Aren't these stamps so adorable?!  You can make you own coupons!  As you can see, I have coupons for blue milk, pink soup, and toast.  Who doesn't want coupons for toast?   haha  :)

I just love the little scissors... and the bar code....and the dotted lines to cut along.  This set jumped to my Top 5 favorite list instantly!

Be sure to stop by the {PAPER SMOOCHES} blog to see more inspiration from the amazing PS DT.  You can also hop over to the {PAPER SMOOCHES SPARKS} challenge blog to play along this week!

{DOUBLE-TAKE TUESDAY} with TGF

We've got a new {DOUBLE-TAKE TUESDAY} challenge for you today on The Greeting Farm's {SPLENDID STAMPING} blog!  This week we have a great color challenge:

I used the new "Limited Edition - Cheshire Bean" stamp.  She's the cutest little kitty ever!  I carefully cut around her paws and face and placed her behind a fence to look like she's peeking over.  Hello, kitty!   The clouds are made with the TGF cloud die and the "Hello" sentiment is from the new TGF "Delicate Words Dies".

I stamped Cheshire Bean onto watercolor paper and water colored her with Distress Inks.  I added a bit of stardust Stickles to hear ears and on the flowers.  The flower stamp is from Some Odd Girl.  The flower stems are cut from a die from Simon Says Stamp.

{FARM FRESH FRIDAY} with TGF

We've got a new {FARM FRESH FRIDAY} challenge up and ready for you on The Greeting Farm's {SPLENDID STAMPING} blog today!  The theme this week is:

*B*L*I*N*G*

Use whatever sparkly things you want to use
-- rhinestones, pearls, glitter, spritz, charms --
anything to make it shine!

I used the new "Limited Edition - HATTER BEAN" for my blingy card.  I love her clothes and hat!  She's so ready for a tea party.  Let's join her! :)   I stamped her onto watercolor paper and water colored her with Distress Inks and a blender pen.  I added some highlights with a gel pen.

I layered her on a die-cut scalloped oval border and added some sticky-back rhinestones all around the edges.  The sentiment stamp is from Lawn Fawn and the banner is a Die-Namics die from My Favorite Things.

{PAPER SMOOCHES} Guest Designing

I let loose quite the giddy squeal when I read that I was chosen as the April Guest Designer for {PAPER SMOOCHES}!  If you know Paper Smooches Stamps, you know how awesome this is. :)  The Paper Smooches stamps are some of the cutest around and I fell hard for them the moment I first saw them.

Today we are showcasing cards from the new {FIRST AID KIT} stamp set!

This set is super cute and any of the stamps would make an adorable "Get Well" card.  I used the little ambulance and sentiment from the set.  I stamped the ambulance onto watercolor paper and water colored it with Distress Inks.

I also used the PS {TAG SCALLOP DIE} that I cut with two different pattern papers.  I just snipped off the end of the red card stock and glued it to the bottom of the red gingham pattern.  I popped up the tag and the sentiment for extra dimension.

I'll have a new PS card to share with you each Wednesday this month.  :)  Be sure to stop by the {PAPER SMOOCHES} blog to see more projects created with all of the new stamp sets.  There's always something fun going on at the {PAPER SMOOCHES SPARKS} challenge blog, as well!

{DOUBLE-TAKE TUESDAY} with TGF

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who stopped by on the blog hop yesterday!  I'm sure by now you are all in love with the limited edition April stamps, which are available in {THE GREETING FARM} store right now!

Today we have a new {DOUBLE-TAKE TUESDAY} challenge for you with a great sketch to follow.  Remember, you don't have to follow it exactly, just make sure that some of the sketch is visible in your final project. :)

I used the new ALICE BEAN -- she's so sweet!  I water colored her with Distress Inks and a Tombow Blender Pen on watercolor paper.  I really like the softness of her hair.  I used a few papers from Lawn Fawn's {Pink Lemonade} paper pack.  The "HELLO" sentiment is cut from the new {DELICATE WORDS} die, which you can also purchase now!

Here's the cool sketch to inspire you this week:
