For my card today, I used the new CC TUESDAY PREMIERE and the FILM STRIP DIE:

She's so ready for her night on the town!  :)  I stamped her onto watercolor paper and water colored her with Distress Inks.  I added some Diamond Stickles to her crown, sash, and adorable shoes.

After I die-cut the film strip from black card stock, I glued it onto vellum paper to make it look more realistic.  I think it looks awesome!  The camera reel sticker is one I had in my stash.

I stamped her onto watercolor paper and water colored her with Distress Ink.  The sentiment stamp is from Lawn Fawn and the ruler stamp is from Technique Tuesday.

A {PICTURE-PERFECT} Preview!

We've got another preview day for you over on The Greeting Farm's {SPLENDID STAMPING} blog!  This is the last preview day for the July release... all of the items previewed will be available in the TGF shop on July 1st!

Today we are previewing the last die in the new set...

it's a POLAROID!

Yay!  How awesome is that?!

The Polaroid photo die is a pretty popular trend these days and this TGF die is total perfection.  It's the perfect size for card making!  Die-cut from white paper, it looks just like an original Polaroid picture, but cut it from any other color and it makes the perfect photo frame.

We have a bunch of previews for you on the {SPLENDID STAMPING} blog today, so be sure to check them out!  Once you do, leave a comment on the Polaroid Die post for your chance to win the "FILM + POLAROID" die set -- this includes the film strip die, the heart die, and the Polaroid die.

Thanks for visiting and good luck!

Luvs,
Annie Rose

{Make A Wish} a Lawn Fawn card

I don't think it's any secret that I love LAWN FAWN stamps!  I can't get enough of the critters.  I decided to color up the cute dragon from the "Critters Ever After" set for a couple of card challenges.

I stamped her onto watercolor paper and colored her with Distress Inks.  I added some Diamond Stickles to her scales, crown, and wand as well.  I popped up the scallop circle on dimensional adhesive.

She's so sweet!  :)

I'm entering this card into the following challenges:

{OOZAK BLOG} - Anything Goes With A Sentiment
{FUN-DAY FRIDAY} - Lawn Fawn Critters
{LAWNSCAPING} - Dimension + Layers

The TOP 5 entries are posted on the {SOME ODD WORLD} site and it's time for YOU to cast your vote for your favorite!  I am really nervous about this round... everyone in it with me is incredibly talented and has put forth some pretty amazing work!

I still totally want to win.  :)  The prize is amazing:

This prize is almost bigger than my entire crafty stash!  Awesome.

* * * * *

I still can't tell you which final entry is mine... you just need to see them all and vote for the one you feel best represents the current theme:

"For the Final Round, we asked the Five remaining Contenders to create a Three Piece Coordinating Set. We required three separate items, each one including one Some Odd Girl image, but they could be anything. There's a lot of room for interpretation here, and you won't be disappointed, some examples might be: card, tag/bookmark, box, bag, banner, frame, journal, Project Life page, cupcake topper, canvas, scrapbook page, wall hanging, clothing, tote, jewelry, etc. The three projects needed to be different from each other but must also go together."

If you've got an extra few minutes, PLEASE click over to the {SOME ODD WORLD} site to view the entries and vote!  You have ONE vote and you can cast that ONE vote between now and Midnight, EST, Wednesday June 26.

THANK YOU again to everyone who has taken the time to vote in this competition!  You guys are the best :)

Annie Rose

{FARM FRESH FRIDAY} with TGF

Time for another {FARM FRESH FRIDAY} challenge on The Greeting Farm blog!  These weeks are just flying by.  Do you know what today is?  It's the first day of Summer!  As a cold-weather loving girl, I dread the Summer heat... but it sure is gorgeous every day. :)

Our theme for you this week is:

SUMMER FUN!

I pulled out the good ol' classic {FLIRTY ANYA} for this sunny creation.  She's just so happy all the time!  She's got her funky pink lemonade sundress on (paper pieced with Lawn Fawn paper), some cunning little heels and a big flower in her paper-pieced hair.

For some reason, I think of popsicles when I see her.  I think it's the blue-raspberry hair.  hee hee :)  I water colored her skin with Distress Ink and added a few highlights with a white ink gel pen.  The sentiment is from Paper Smooches.

Be sure to stop by The Greeting Farm's {SPLENDID STAMPING} blog to see all of the DT's SUMMER FUN creations and to play along!

{GARDEN VARIETY TUESDAY} with TGF

It's time for a fun new {GARDEN VARIETY TUESDAY} challenge on The Greeting Farm blog!  This week, we have a cool sketch to follow.

For my card, I used the new {CHARLOTTE CHIC}:

Yep, she's still just as gorgeous as ever!  I may have gone a bit overboard with her make-up... I hope she doesn't look like a clown.  hee hee :)

I water colored her with Distress Ink and paper-pieced her shirt and hair band.  I added some machine stitching in black thread.  The "Sweetest Thing" sentiment is from the new {Baby Anya + Ian} TGF stamp set.

Here's the fun sketch for you to follow this week:

{FARM FRESH FRIDAY} with TGF

It's my turn to host the {FARM FRESH FRIDAY} challenge on The Greeting Farm blog!  Since today, June 14th is FLAG DAY in the United States, I wanted to incorporate that into the challenge, so the theme for you this week is:

Create anything you want with an image from The Greeting Farm and any country flag, banner, pennant - anything you can fly in the wind to celebrate!

I used the new {WINKY BEAN} as my main image. I water colored her with Distress Inks and paper-pieced her hair and clothes.  I also used the {MINI CUPCAKES} stamp + die combo set.  The sentiment comes with that set.  I cut a handful of triangles and attached them with dimensional squares to form a banner.  I think she's super sweet!

*****

Here's how to play:

- You must use a TGF stamp (rubber, digi, or clear) as your main image.

- Entries must be uploaded via InLinkz (on the TGF blog post) no later than Thursday, June 20th at NOON CST. You can add a direct link to your entry from your personal blog, SCS gallery, Flickr or TGF galleria.

{GARDEN VARIETY TUESDAY} with TGF

It's time for a new {GARDEN VARIETY TUESDAY} challenge on The Greeting Farm blog!  Our challenge them for you today is:

GIRLY GIRL

Grab any girly TGF stamp and get creative!

I used Baby Anya from the new {BABY ANYA + IAN} stamp set.  Isn't she such a cutie-patootie?!  I want to scoop her up just like Baby Ian.  I love her eyelashes. :)

I water colored her with Distress Inks on watercolor paper.  I added some white ink gel pen hi-lights and lined parts of her flower bonnet with Stickles.

I stamped some of the flowers from the new {WINKY BEAN} clear stamp and water colored them with Distress Inks as well.  I added a part of the {TGF FENCE} die along the bottom and machine stitched around the entire front panel.

Be sure to stop by The Greeting Farm's {SPLENDID STAMPING} blog to see all of the cute GIRLY GIRL projects by the Design Team and to play along!  There's also a cool announcement of a new Mixed Media set being released too... Go check it out! :)

{You MOOOOve Me} a Lawn Fawn card

The current challenge over on the {LAWNSCAPING} blog is simply: COLORING.  I love to water color all of my stamped images with Distress Ink, and Lawn Fawn stamps are so much fun!  They are adorable, simple line drawings that are perfectly sized for easy coloring.

I made a scallop circle easel card for this challenge.  I stamped a little farm scene with the "CRITTERS ON THE FARM" stamp set.  I love it!  These animals are just too cute.  :)

I stamped the scene onto watercolor paper and cut it out with a circle Nestabilities die.  I added some highlights with a white ink gel pen and a bit of Stickles.

Such a helpful little mouse!

I'm linking this card up to the {LAWNSCAPING} challenge:

{FARM FRESH FRIDAY} with TGF

We've got a new {FARM FRESH FRIDAY} challenge up and ready for you over on The Greeting Farm's {SPLENDID STAMPING} blog.  This week, our challenge is:

BOLD + BRIGHT

I stamped Baby Ian from the new "BABY ANYA + IAN" stamp set onto watercolor paper and water colored him with Distress Inks.  I paper pieced his hat and bib and added some Stickles to his little outfit and beanie propeller.  :)

Every time I look at him I want to just scoop him up in my hands!  He's so squishy!  This cute sentiment is one of two that comes with this stamp set, too.

{GARDEN VARIETY TUESDAY} with TGF

We're back with another fun {GARDEN VARIETY TUESDAY} challenge for you over on The Greeting Farm's {SPLENDID STAMPING} blog!  Our theme for you this week is...

1 - 5 - 5

Since today is the 155th day of the year, your challenge is to use these number any way you want!  TGF images, papers, embellishments... whatever you can think of.

For my project, I decided to use
1 design - 5 tags - 5 colors...

I used the adorable giraffe stamp from the new "BABY ANYA + IAN" set which is in The Greeting Farm store now!  I stamped it onto watercolor paper and water colored it in 5 different Distress Ink colors.

I kept the design for these tags simple.  I wanted the cute giraffe to be the center of attention. :)  The scallop tag is a die from Paper Smooches.  The "For You" sentiment is from My Favorite Things.

I finished off each tag with a baker's twine bow in coordinating colors.  I think these would be super cute on baby shower treat bags or party favors. :)  They were fun to make!

Be sure to hop on over to The Greeting Farm's {SPLENDID STAMPING} blog to see all of the DT creations and to play along!

Thanks for visiting.

Annie Rose

{ODD IDOL} Top 10!

This {ODD IDOL} competition is getting tougher and tougher, but I am so happy to announce that I've made it into the TOP 10!  Holy moly!  I can't believe I've made it this far.  Everyone has been creating the most amazing projects and I am so honored to be among these talented ladies. :)

As you know, the public judging for the {ODD IDOL} competition is done blindly, so I'm not able to show or talk about my entries until after that specific round of voting is over...

This card is my latest creation that got me voted into the TOP 10:

Our challenge was to color in opposite colors -- or something you wouldn't expect to see.  When I purchased this adorable {PIXIE DUST} stamp, I pictured her in more earth tones, so for this round I wanted to color her in more bright, spunky colors.  Everything was water colored with Distress Inks on watercolor paper.  I colored the mushrooms a bit funky, too.  I love it!  :)    I added some stickles-covered wood veneer stars and some chipboard hearts around her to finish it off.

I want to thank everyone who took the time to vote!  Especially those who picked my card out of the lot.  :)  You've helped me get to the TOP 10 which is so insanely awesome... I totally want to win the huge prize and the {ODD IDOL} title, of course!

I've been working on the next project ALL weekend long... It's definitely been a challenge but a fun one!  The voting for this next round starts later this week, so I'll keep you posted.

THANK YOU for visiting and voting and for all of your sweet comments!

Luvs,
Annie Rose
