{HAPPY 5th BIRTHDAY} TGF!

Today's release is definitely a milestone for {THE GREETING FARM} as it marks our FIFTH birthday!  Happy birthday to us!

As you've seen from this month's previews, we are going all-out to celebrate with three BIRTHDAY-themed releases and they're all available NOW in the {TGF STORE}Whether you want to GO BIG with the new Frou Frou line, classic with Birthday Anya 3, or get 'clearly' creative with the new Birthday cake stackers, there's a little something for everyone this release as we prepare to PARTY!

There will be a few birthday surprises on the Farm this month, so stay tuned, but in order to kick start today's party and this month's fab release, we're celebrating with our DT BLOG hop -- as usual!

Today I'm sharing two cards that I made with two of the three new release items: Birthday Cake Stackers and Birthday Anya 3

I love this cake stacker set!  There are a couple different designs of "cake" for each layer, so you can really change it up each time.  There's a few different cake topper stamps as well and the scalloped cake plate is just too cute!  The sentiment can be used on any card with any image -- I love a versatile sentiment. :)

This Birthday Anya 3 gal is just adorable!  I love her pigtails and her cute face and the very special cake that she made JUST FOR YOU!

There's a LOT to celebrate today, so because we are so excited, we have FIVE prizes for our FIVE years:  THREE random digis of choice will be given away for completing the hop today, as well as TWO grand prizes of the ENTIRE AUGUST RELEASE!

Just be sure to head down this blog hop list and then back to the TGF BLOG letting us know you've finished the hop.  You have until 11:45pm CST to finish hopping and we'll announce the winners during FFF tomorrow!  WOO HOO!

{AUGUST RELEASE SNEAK-PEEK} with TGF!

Have you been enjoying the sneak-peek previews featured on The Greeting Farm's {SPLENDID STAMPING} blog this week?  I hope so!  This month we are celebrating The Greeting Farm's 5th Birthday, so the new release items are all PARTY PARTY!  :)

Today's preview is fantastic..... introducing:

FROU FROU BIRTHDAY

Oh my goodness, right?!  She's GORGEOUS!  And she's BIG!  She's about 4 inches by 3 inches.  She fits nicely on the front of a standard A2 size card.  She comes with the "Beautiful Birthday" sentiment stamp, as well.

She's nicely sized for 3D art projects, like this trinket gift box I made:

I made the box by hand (a tutorial is coming soon!) and decorated it with a bunch of items from I Am Roses and of course had to stick FROU FROU BIRTHDAY on top...just like a wedding cake. :)

I decorated the back side with matching flowers and pearls.
The inside of the box is perfectly sized for some yummy treats.

I am in love with the new FROU FROU BIRTHDAY stamp.

Would you like a chance to WIN her?  Stop by the preview post on The Greeting Farm's {SPLENDID STAMPING} blog to see how you can win.  Be sure to come back again tomorrow when for the AUGUST RELEASE BLOG HOP for your chance to win the entire release! Woo hoo! :)

Thanks for visiting and good luck!
Luvs,
Annie Rose

{FARM FRESH FRIDAY} with TGF

It's {FARM FRESH FRIDAY} challenge time over on The Greeting Farm blog!  This week, our theme for you is:

THE GREAT OUTDOORS

We want to see your TGF creations that have to do with being outside!

I stamped {CHEEKY LESSONS} onto watercolor paper and then masked her off to stamp the log (from Lawn Fawn) around her.  I water colored the scene with Distress Inks.  I paper-pieced her hair and I think it looks awesome!

This scene makes me long for the Autumn season -- no more hot, hot Summer days, please!  :)

Be sure to stop by The Greeting Farm's {SPLENDID STAMPING} blog to see all of the outdoorsy creations and to play along!

{JULY IAR CHALLENGE} - An Altered Box

I was finally able to make my first {I AM ROSES} purchase recently so I'm not wasting any time playing along with the IAR challenges!  This month, the challenge is to incorporate tissue paper or vellum into your project and at least two IAR products.

I decided to alter a wooden recipe box:

I painted and distressed the box edges and covered the sides with designer paper by Prima.  I added some flat-back pearl trim along all of the edges and glued on a couple pieces of lace trim that I had in my stash.

I used a bunch of different IAR products to decorate the top:  roses, cherry blossoms, crochet flowers, white leaves.  I die cut some leaves from vellum paper and placed them around the flowers.  I love how they look -- so soft and subtle. I added a wooden scrabble tile "A" and a couple wood-veneer birds and that was it!  :)

I've got a quick share video on my YouTube channel {HERE}.

Thanks for visiting.

{BABY BOO'S SHOWER HOP} with TGF!

Hi everyone!  Today we are having a surprise blog hop for our fun, fantastic, and fearless leader JESSICA who will be having a baby girl any day now!  We wanted a fun way to show how much we adore her and wish her well.... what better way than a blog hop?!  :)

My fellow design team members and I have created some cutesy, girly-wirly projects to share with you today, so be sure to hop around and visit all of our blogs to see everything!

I created a gift tag using the TGF {BABY ONESIE DIE}.  I cut it out with some cute striped paper from DCWV and tied a felt/button flower with some pink/white baker's twine.  I added some extra frills with a paper doily and covered parts of the tag with stardust Stickles.  It's super sparkly!

The {BABY ONESIE DIE} is perfect for making baby-themed projects... and guess what?   Marie, the Greeting Farm's artist and owner is offering the {BABY ONESIE DIE} as a prize to one lucky blog hop commenter!  Simply hop around with us today and comment on the DT blogs and you'll have a chance to win!

Here's the blog hop list today:

{GARDEN VARIETY TUESDAY} with TGF

It's my turn to host the {GARDEN VARIETY TUESDAY} challenge over on The Greeting Farm blog and this week I have made a sketch for you to be inspired by!

I used the new {CHEEKY LESSONS} stamp.  I cut her out around the apple that she is normally leaning on and placed her onto this adorable chair from the {SITTING WONDERFUL} set.

It works perfectly!  She's totally relaxed and wants to chat... with you!  :)

I paper-pieced her hair and water colored the rest of her with Distress Inks.  The sentiment stamp is from Paper Smooches.  I added a bit of ribbon and some pretty flowers and that's it!

Here's my sketch for you to follow this week:

Be sure to hop on over to The Greeting Farm's {SPLENDID STAMPING} blog to see all of the sketch designs and to play along!

I used the new {CC TUESDAY PREMIERE} stamp and the {POLAROID DIE}, which are available in the TGF store now!  I colored Tuesday with Distress Inks.  I cut her out and placed her behind the Polaroid die with a black mat to make her pop out.  I also used my star paper punch and a scallop border die-namics die from MFT.  The sentiment stamp is by Paper Smooches.

{LIFE'S A BEACH} card share

The challenge this week over on the {KRAFTIN' KIMMIE} blog is themed "GUNS + ROSES" -- add some metal and flowers.  Awesome!  :)

I recently won some yummy blog candy from Tress (thank you sweets!) that included some Kraftin' Kimmie stamps... my first ones!  I love them all and I couldn't wait to get one of them inky for this challenge.

This gal is {SUNNIE} and she's gorgeous!  I had fun coloring her.  I stamped her onto watercolor paper and water colored her with Distress Inks.  I added some Stickles to a few parts and some highlights with a white gel pen.  The sentiment is one of two that come with Sunnie.  The flowers and the seashell charm came in the candy pack from Tress.  I love them and they are perfect for this challenge!  :)

Thanks for visiting.

{RETRO-FRESH} with TGF

Sorry it's been so quiet around here!  I've been busy with work and my YouTube channel and making challenge cards and rearranging my very small crafty area (which now looks awesome, by the way) and I haven't had time to post anything!

* * * * *

But here we go -- It's time for the monthly {RETRO FRESH} challenge on The Greeting Farm blog!  The Retro-Fresh challenge is to make a project/card with any TGF image that is at least 6 months old.  This month, our challenge for you is:

CUPCAKES + SPRINKLES

*yum*

Little Wild Sprouts - RUBY (now retired) was calling my name for this card... "PICK ME! PICK MEEEE!" she said. "MAKE ME A CUPPYCAKE!" .... so I did.  :)

I have an older Quick-Cutz cupcake die that I used for the cupcake base/wrapper.  I stamped Ruby onto watercolor paper and water colored her with Distress Inks.

She specifically asked for cotton-candy blue hair, and I was happy to oblige.  Who can say no to that adorable face?!

(Yes, I have conversations with my little stamp family...)

The mini cupcakes were made with the TGF "MINI CUPCAKES + DIE" combo set.  I stamped them with Distress Ink then die cut them out and added Diamond Stickles to random bits.  The sentiment stamp is from an MFT Pure Innocence set.

Be sure to check out the {RETRO-FRESH} challenge on The Greeting Farm blog to play along with us this month. We can't wait to see all of your sweet creations!

ANYTHING GOES

Woo hoo!  As long as you use at least one TGF item - die, digi or rubber stamp - you're set!

I used the new {CHEEKY LESSONS} stamp.  I love her :)  I stamped her onto some shiny patterned card stock with VersaMark ink and heat embossed the image with black embossing powder.  It's a little bit hard to see in photos, but in real life she's got some shine!

Be sure to stop by The Greeting Farm's {SPLENDID STAMPING} blog to play along.  The more participants, the bigger the prize!  So go... get creative.  :)
