{FARM FRESH FRIDAY} with TGF

What a fun week we've had on The Greeting Farm!  September release sneak-peeks and new challenges and lots of winners.  Today, we have a new {FARM FRESH FRIDAY} challenge for you.

The theme is:

ANYA-LICIOUS

Use any "ANYA" image in your creation.

I made and decorated a pillow box to hold a birthday gift card.  I stamped {ANYA LIFTS} onto watercolor paper and water colored her with Distress Inks.  I paper-pieced her hair with brown polka-dot paper.  I added some white highlight lines and a bit of Stickles for some sparkles.

The sentiment stamp is by Paper Smooches and the cherry blossom flowers are from I Am Roses.

I've been making a bunch of these pillow boxes to sell in my Etsy shop, so keep an eye out for those if you are interested!  I think they make a great gift -- they're like a card and gift all in one!  Just fill the inside with a gift card or some candies and it's good to go. :)

{SEPTEMBER RELEASE SNEAK-PEEK} with TGF!

Today is the last day of sneak-peeks for the September release over on The Greeting Farm's {SPLENDID STAMPING} blog!  I hope everyone has enjoyed the peeks so far.  I have to say, this next set is my favorite for the month -- they are just TOO ADORABLE!

Introducing...

ROYAL CUTIES

*squeeeee*

Look at these girls!  Just look at them!  Did you get a good look?  Go ahead and look again....  :)  I can't get over the cuteness.  Each little cutie girl has her own personality and style but you can tell they are the best of friends.

And the best part?  The ROYAL CUTIES stamp set comes with both girls and both sentiments!  Yippee skippee!   These sentiments will go great with any other TGF stamp as well.  I love that.

{GARDEN VARIETY TUESDAY} with TGF

We've got a new {GARDEN VARIETY TUESDAY} challenge up and ready for you on The Greeting Farm blog!  This week, the theme is:

LAYERS

For my layered project, I decided to make something other than a card:

I started by making a large 8 inch paper rosette and worked up from there.  I used the {FROU FROU BIRTHDAY} stamp and turned her into a Christmas gift giver instead of a birthday gift giver. :)  I water colored her with Distress Inks.

I then added some card stock layers, edged with satin crinkle ribbon and lace.

I decorated the top with flowers, skeleton leaves and roses from I Am Roses, some red berry stamens, and some flat-back pearls.  The Merry Christmas sentiment stamp is from the {SPARKLING SEASON} clear stamp set, available in the TGF shop.

I glued on a bit of ribbon to the back for hanging and the Christmas rosette d├ęcor was complete!  It's fun to use stamps in ways other than they are intended, so look through all of your TGF stamps and see what you can come up.

Be sure to stop by The Greeting Farm's {SPLENDID STAMPING} blog to see more layered inspiration and to play along.  We're also in the middle of the September release previews, so keep an eye on the blog for your chances to win new stamps!

{GARDEN VARIETY TUESDAY} with TGF

We've got a great new {GARDEN VARIETY TUESDAY} challenge ready for you on The Greeting Farm blog!  The challenge this week is to be inspired by Summer melon colors.

Oooh, yummy colors!

For my card, I stamped {PRINCESS ANYA} onto watercolor paper and water colored part of her with Distress Ink.  I left her hair uncolored and coated it with Diamond Stickles instead.  I paper-pieced her dress and added a bit of shadowing with Distress Ink.

I used two different TGF stamp sets for the sentiment:  {FROU FROU BIRTHDAY} for the "Birthday" word and {SPARKLING SEASON} clear stamp set for the "Wishes" banner.  The patterned paper is from Lawn Fawn and the card stock is from Papertrey Ink.  I added some pink Distress Ink around the edges and glued on a few matching cherry blossoms from I Am Roses.

{FARM FRESH FRIDAY} with TGF

It's been quiet around here lately -- sorry about that.  The week has been busy and stressful and I didn't have any crafting mojo to work with.  But, I've got a few projects in the works on my table now that I can't wait to get back to, and it's time for another {FARM FRESH FRIDAY} challenge over on The Greeting Farm blog!

This was my challenge to host and I picked my favorite theme:

ANYTHING GOES!

Sometimes it's good to just let your own creativity and imagination take you to where you can create your own special art, without any boundaries or rules.  I'd love it if you did just that this week!  As long as you use a TGF image/stamp/die in your creation, you are good to go. :)

I decided to get crafty with the new {LAYER CAKE} clear stamp set.  I stamped the layers with Distress Ink onto watercolor paper so they could have some texture.  I like they distressed look it created.  I added some aged gold Frantage embossing enamel around the outside of the die-cut circle and layered it all up.

I added a little bow to the top of the cake and finished it off with a green cherry blossom paper flower from I Am Roses.  A little bit more distressing around the edges that's it!  This {LAYER CAKE} stamp set is so much fun to play with.  You can change the mood just by changing up the colored it's stamped with. :)

{FARM FRESH FRIDAY} with TGF

Time for a new {FARM FRESH FRIDAY} challenge over on The Greeting Farm blog and I am SO EXCITED for this challenge!  The theme is:

MIX IT UP!

We want to see a project made with at least 2 images mixed up.

For my card today, I used the head from {PRINCESS ANYA 4} (who is currently out of stock) and the body from {BIRTHDAY ANYA 3}:

They go so well together, don't you think?  I think you could add any TGF head to this little cake-holding body and it would be adorable.  I also love taking Princess Anya 4 and giving her a little haircut to make this super-cute bob.  :)

I stamped the images on watercolor paper and water colored them with Distress Ink.  I then cut out the head and body separately and glued them together.  It's such a simple process but it creates the cutest new little images!  You really should try it, if you haven't yet... I think you'll love it.  Plus, you get to stretch the use of your stamps that much further!

I can't wait to see what everyone creates this week.  Head on over to The Greeting Farm's {SPLENDID STAMPING} blog to see all of the DT's creations and to play along!

{GARDEN VARIETY TUESDAY} with TGF

It's {GARDEN VARIETY TUESDAY} time over on The Greeting Farm blog!  This week, we have a pretty color combo challenge for you:

I used the new {FROU FROU BIRTHDAY} stamp and sentiment.  I stamped her onto watercolor paper, die-cut the image into a circle and water colored her with Distress Ink.  I added a few highlights with a white ink gel pen and of course dabbed on some Diamond Stickles here and there. :)

I love her happy, smiling face and those long eyelashes!

Now it's your turn to get creative!  Hop on over to The Greeting Farm's {SPLENDID STAMPING} blog to see all of the DT's color creations and to play along.

{FARM FRESH FRIDAY} with TGF

We have a new {FARM FRESH FRIDAY} challenge ready for you on The Greeting Farm blog!  I hope everyone enjoyed the August release blog hop yesterday... thanks for all of the lovely comments. :)

Our challenge theme for you this week is:

GETTIN' WIGGY WIT IT
{nananana nana na... nananana nana}

We want to see your TGF creations with non-traditional hair colors!

I used the new {BIRTHDAY ANYA 3} stamp, which is available NOW in the TGF shop! (Awww yiss).  She's too cute!  I decided to paper-piece her hair with some pink hexagon-patterned paper.  The rest of her is water colored with Distress Ink.

I coated the icing on the cake with some creamy Perfect Pearls and kind of dotted it all around to make it look more realistic.  It looks a bit gross in the photo, but in real life it rocks!  :)  I added some flowers, leaves, and pearls all around to finish it off.

Now it's your turn to GET WIGGY WIT IT!  Pop over to The Greeting Farm's {SPLENDID STAMPING} blog to see all of the DT creations and to play along!
