Yes! October is finally here!  I have an intense love for the Autumn season.  I wish to live in a wold full of Autumns, but since that's not possible, I try to make the most of it when it finally arrives.  October is my favorite month -- my birthday and Halloween in the same month!  Doesn't get better than that. ;)

I also feel a connection to those who share my October birthday month, like my Grandma.  Today is her birthday and I'm sharing the happy harvest card I made for her:

I used a retired stamp set from The Greeting Farm (2009) called "HOPE + GRACE".  I believe it was the first set showcasing the adorable Hope and Grace characters.  When I saw it in a quick sale in The Greeting Farm shop a while back, I snatched it up.  Too cute!

I stamped a scene with the two girls and the flower stamp that all come in the same set.  I used the masking technique to overlap the images.  When doing this, work from the front to the back -- stamp the image you want to be in the front FIRST, then mask it off and stamp the next image.  The images you want to appear to be further back, stamp them last, as I did with the flowers here.

I stamped everything onto watercolor paper and watercolored them with Distress Ink, a watercolor paintbrush, and water.  I added some highlights with a white ink gel pen.  I stuck on some flat-back enamel dots for some extra dimension and interest.

Ahh... sweet, crisp Autumn, how I love you so.

Thanks for visiting!

But now back to your card: love the colors and the coloring! The stamps are really sweet! Great card!
