{YOU ARE WICKED COOL}

I've got a quick clean and simple card to share with you today!  I grabbed a couple of my Paper Smooches stamp sets and created a little party scene...

Most of my Paper Smooches stamp sets are winter and snowmen... so I figured out a way to incorporate one of them into a non-Winter card!  You can use any snowman for anything if you add a sentiment about being COOL.
hee hee  :)

I stamped the scene onto a die-cut watercolor paper panel and watercolored it with Distress Ink markers, water, and a paintbrush.  I added a few highlight dots with white gesso paint.

Quick, simple, and perfect for an upcoming male birthday, no?

I'm linking up this cool dude to the following challenges:

{SIMON SAYS STAMP} - Clean And Simple
{PAPER SMOOCHES SPARKS} - Anything Goes

{WITH LOVE} a Mother's Day card

When I first saw the new color challenge over on the My Favorite Things {CARD CHALLENGE} blog, I knew exactly what I wanted to do...  I just had to make a Mother's Day card with those colors!

My mom's favorite flowers are 'little purple pansies touched with yellow-gold' so the challenge colors are spot on:

What's NOT spot on is my camera's ability to photograph the color yellow.
No matter how much editing is done, the yellows are never true and tend to look green. Aww poop.  :(

In real life, the card totally matches the swatch:

I stamped the little mouse image onto a die-cut watercolor paper panel and painted her with Distress Ink markers, water, and a paintbrush.  The rest of the card was put together using the MFT Blueprints 3 die set.  The layered leaves, the sentiment, and the banners are all MFT as well.

This card will definitely pair up perfectly with a small potted pansy plant.
(how's that for alliteration?!)

I'm linking this card to the following challenges:

{MFT CARD CHALLENGE} - Color Challenge 20
{LOVES RUBBERSTAMPS} - Add Flowers

{HAPPY ANNIVERSARY}

My 12 year wedding anniversary is coming up in May, so I made a card for my hubs...as I do each year.  I created a little scene with a few different stamp sets from Lawn Fawn:

Oh, so smitten!  :)

I used the unicorn from the {Critters Ever After} set, the zebra from the {Critters On The Savanna} set, and the log from the {Critters In The Forest} set.  The sentiment stamp is from Paper Smooches' {Good Gab} set.

I stamped the scene onto a die-cut watercolor paper panel and watercolored it with Distress Ink markers, water, and a paintbrush.

I'm linking this card to the following challenges:

{SIMON SAYS STAMP} - Clean A Simple
{7 KIDS COLLEGE FUND} - Anything Goes
{PAPERTAKE WEEKLY} - Cute As A Button
{LAWNSCAPING} - #104 Sketch  (it's there, I promise!)

{ENJOY}

I've been on a bit of a shabby-chic kick this month and it's pretty darn fun!  I love making these multi-layered, busy cards.  I've got one to share today that definitely hits all the girly-girl spots:

I stamped {ANYA BLOOMS} from The Greeting Farm onto a die-cut watercolor paper panel and watercolored her with Distress Inks, water, and a paintbrush.  I melted some pink-tinted Frontage embossing powder mix on the corners of the panel and the paper heart embellishment.

The picket fence and Enjoy word sentiment are also from The Greeting Farm.

The roses, cherry blossoms, and skeleton leaf are from I Am Roses.  I added a few shiny, green, flat-back pearls all around to finish it off.

I'm entering this card into the following challenges:

{I AM ROSES} - April Challenge
{LOVES RUBBERSTAMPS} - #147 Pearls/Swirls
{SIMON SAYS STAMP - MONDAY} - In The Middle (image)
{TGF FARM FRESH FRIDAY} - 3 Embellishments (flowers, pearls, lace)

{May All Of Your Dreams Come True}

I just finished making my most favorite card I've ever made... ever!
I don't know what it is about it that makes me love it so much, but I had a great time coloring the image and picking out colors and flowers and papers to match with a handful of different challenges and it all just sort of came together. :)

I used the Gorjuss Girl stamp {New Heights}.  I stamped her onto a die-cut watercolor paper panel and watercolored her with Distress Ink markers, water, and a paintbrush.  I added some white dot accents with a small stylus and gesso paint.

I made some rolled paper roses and added flat-back pearls as their centers.  The cherry blossoms and skeleton leaf are from I Am Roses.  I popped everything up onto bunch of layers, added a little wood veneer bird and she was all set to go.  Super girly and super cute!

I'm linking her up to the following challenges:

{SUGAR NELLIE} - Gorjuss Girl Party
{SIMON SAYS STAMP} - Spring Flowers
{7 KIDS COLLEGE FUND} - Anything Goes
{LOVES RUBBERSTAMPS} - Anything Goes
{SIMON SAYS STAMP MONDAY} - April Flowers

{HI, HUNNY BUNNY}

Hope everyone is having a lovely Sunday!  I'll be spending it making some delicious food for my family dinner and getting crafty.  Couldn't ask for a better time! :)

I stamped this sweet image of bunny Mimi from the Penny Black "MIMI + MILES" Valentine stamp set.  I colored her with Distress Ink markers, water, and a paintbrush.  I added some white dot embellishments with a small stylus and white gesso.

The papers are from Lawn Fawn,  the dies and sentiment are from My Favorite Things, and the flower/heart border is from The Greeting Farm.  I finished off the flower with a yellow enamel dot, one of my favorite embellishments that finishes things off so perfectly sometimes. :)

I'm linking her to the following challenges:

{PAPERTAKE WEEKLY} - Anything Oval
{PENNY BLACK SATURDAY} - April - Easter
{LOVES RUBBERSTAMPS} - Favorite Embellishment

{SENDING YOU SUNSHINE}

I've got another quick Spring/Easter themed card to share with you today, this time featuring the stamp {GARDEN ANYA} from The Greeting Farm:

This is one of my favorite stamps that I received while working on The Greeting Farm design team. She's just so adorable and it's such a fun stamp to color.  I stamped her onto watercolor paper and watercolored her with Distress Ink markers, water, and a paintbrush.  I added some dot highlights with a small stylus and some white gesso.

I used Distress Ink around all the paper edges to give it a bit of a grunge look... she has been gardening all day, you know, so things are bound to get a bit dirty!  :)

I added a bit of sparkle with some Stickles on the flowers and the sun.

I'm linking her up to the following challenges:

{PAPERTAKE WEEKLY} - Take Your Pick Pastels
{MARKER POP} - #65 Easter

Thank you so much for visiting!
