{I Happen To ADORE You}

This was a fun card to make!  I started by die-cutting a panel from white watercolor cardstock, then I stamped images from Concord & 9th's "WILDFLOWERS" stamp set in VersaMark ink, heat embossed them with white embossing powder, then watercolored the images with Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers.

Once dry, I spritzed the panel with some yellow and gold shimmery Glimmer Mist sprays and patted it off with a paper towel so it wasn't too dark. This did smear some of the watercoloring, but it just added to the effect and looked pretty cool!

Once the panel was dry, I stamped a small heart and the sentiment from Concord & 9th's "LOVE YOU. MEAN IT." stamp set in VersaMark ink and heat embossed them in gold embossing powder, to make sure they stood out and had lots of shine!

{THANK EWE}

A quick card share today to play along with a couple THANKFUL challenges.

I created my background by stamping the little sheep (or ewe, if you will) from Lawn Fawn's "Critters On The Farm" stamp set multiple times onto kraft cardstock. I then colored in the wool with a Copic marker and added some white gel ink dots and outline highlights to make them pop a bit.

I stamped the sentiment using Lawn Fawn's "Quinn's ABC's" onto vellum paper using VersaMark ink and heat embossed it with white embossing powder.  I used the same Copic marker to color in the spaces of the alphas, on the reverse side, so they would wouldn't fade into the background.  I adhered the vellum strips on an angle and placed it onto a card base, and that's that!

{THANKS}

A quick Autumn/Thanksgiving card for you today!

These cute foxes are from the My Favorite Things 'Forest Friends' stamp set, I stamped them onto watercolor paper and painted them with Zig Clean Color Real Brush watercolor markers, water, and a paintbrush.  I used the MFT Blueprints 27 dies to create the rest of the card.  I blended some Distress Ink to create the orange/yellow background in the die-cut pieces. I added some orange sparkly enamel dots and some white ink gel pen dots to finish it off.

{Wishing You All Things MERRY}

Today I'm playing along in the {POWER & SPARK} challenge over on the POWER POPPY blog!  The challenge this month is THINK PINK CHRISTMAS, so I grabbed the only Power Poppy stamp set I own (so far...) which happens to be Christmas-themed and got to stamping:

This stamp set is gorgeous!  It's called "SPICE IT UP" and it's full of citrus and spice and all things holiday nice. The orange and clove pomanders, the berries, the star anise, the ribbons, and the sentiments are so perfect for creating holiday cards.  Who doesn't love the smell of Christmas?  I actually love it all year long.

I stamped one of the pretty citrus groupings into a pattern on some watercolor cardstock in black Archival Ink (which is waterproof).  I then colored each little bit with my Zig Clean Color Real Brush watercolor markers, water, and a paintbrush.

I then stamped and watercolored another image from the set, the single large orange pomander with the big bow and mistletoe and I turned the card into a shaker card filled with iridescent sequins:

I die cut a tag from Kraft cardstock and heat embossed one of the sentiments from the set in white, and tied it to the card with matching pink ribbon.  I love how it turned out!  It's going to be hard to give this card away... it may stick around in my stash for a little while. :)

{Decorate Your Holidays With HAPPINESS}

I'm sharing a quick and easy watercolored Christmas card today:

I stamped the ornament images and sentiment from the Hero Arts "Decorate Your Holiday" stamp set in clear VersaMark ink onto a die cut watercolor paper panel and heat embossed them with white embossing powder.

I then spritzed the panel with water and grabbed a few colors of Zig Clean Color Real Brush watercolor markers and smooshed some color around, keeping the red mostly on the ornaments and sentiment and the greens as more of a background cover, sort of like ornaments hanging from a Christmas tree.

I then backed the panel onto a white cardstock base, added some sparkle and shine to the ornaments with a Wink of Stella glitter brush, and some pink and white iridescent sequins. I added a few white ink gel pen dots to finish it off.
